Winter hike on Rügen 2016

Winter hike on Rügen 2016

For our winter hike on Rügen we were 12 people and traveled in carpools. Our arrival from Hamburg on Friday took a little longer because it was pretty slippery and we simply couldn't find the entrance to the facility in the dark. After a long back and forth we were finally able to move into our water bungalow. The others were already there and we were welcomed with hot drinks and delicious food. The attachment "In Jaich" was a marina on the Bodden, which was frozen over. The bungalows and houses were directly on and on the water and only accessible by footbridges. It was so great because the ice was so thick that we could also hike across the Bodden and even have a barbecue on it. Since it was an offer, we had booked the houses until Monday, but unfortunately most of them had to leave by Sunday afternoon. On Saturday we did a nice long day hike at the cliff along and back we went with the historic train "The Mad Roland". In the evening we cooked well for everyone and then played and sat together nicely. Some then went to the sauna or went on a short night hike. On Sunday we did a short circular hike with a detour to a small café. After that it was time to head back home. But these two days were so great that some were already clamoring for the next tour. That's how it should be.
