I've been going on a skiing holiday at least once a year since about 2000
Dolomites
after
Canazei / South Tyrol. And that should be the case this year too. I also offered the tour in a group, but I didn't expect so much response. But that's how it happened that we made our way to South Tyrol with 17 people. We solved the trip again with carpooling. And so there was again an east and a west route. I was there with my group around noon and Thomas arrived in the afternoon. Some wanted to go straight up the mountain, others first had a look at the place and did all the important things like buying a ski pass, going to ski rental and so on. In the evening there was a welcome drink and a few organizational things to discuss in the
Hotel Albergo Denise. With such a large group, you can't always ride together, but that was clear to everyone. We did 3 day trips together with everyone and it was great. So, in one day, we made our way to
Lagazuoi. The highlight was of course the grandiose descent in the mountain massif, but the carriage ride back to the lift with skis was also adventurous. On another day we visited the former pizza hut, with a few detours to the fun parks along the route. Unfortunately, the pizza hut is now one
barbecue hut, but the area is still very beautiful. And on the third day we're over that
Col Raiser
to the
Anna Hutte
drove to Ortisei. It is always a dream to make this long descent. We still have a detour to
Marmolada
made for those who were good and fast on the road, but the view wasn't that great. Since I know the ski area like the back of my hand, it wasn't a problem at all. Small groups quickly formed, depending on how much they liked to ride, and so everyone had their fun during the week. I also brought everyone home safely and found some new fans for South Tyrol and skiing. It's just fun and the next winter will definitely come.
