Toboggan tour in the Harz Mountains 2017

Also this year we want to do a snowshoe hike in the Harz mountains. We have a nice little apartment "House Aulich" rented in Schierke. The journey took place again in car pools on Friday after work. Unfortunately the weather is not on our side this year, there is simply not enough snow for a snowshoe hike. But we have an alternative offer. We're going to Rabenstein tunnel and do a tour of the mining there, which is very interesting. Then we go back to the apartment and drink coffee and eat something. In the late afternoon we will then follow Braunlage and have a lot of fun tobogganing. Well frozen, it's off to a restaurant to eat and then it's back to the good old days threshing floor. Part of the group is already driving into the apartment and making themselves comfortable there. On Sunday we sleep in and have a nice breakfast. After that, a small round will be in Schierke turned, to a very nice one Flintstones lookout and then we went home again. Even though the weather wasn't that great, we had a very nice weekend again.
