Nicole and Sandra invited us to our paddling tour on Lake Schwerin. That was another great idea. You have us in one
Children's holiday camp Muess
housed in bungalows. The facility was great because we had a kitchen available and lots of sporting activities. Everyone arrived safely on Friday evening and we had great weather. So we could sit outside and talk for a long time in the evening. On Saturday after breakfast we walked to the lake, where he was waiting
Landlords with the canoes.
There was a short briefing and then it was supposed to start. Stefan had now drawn the lot of the single canoe and getting in should be a little more difficult. I helped him and then tried to push him off the bank into the water, but it backfired. Because he couldn't keep his balance despite the somewhat stronger waves and promptly tipped over. Was that funny or not like that???? We helped him out of the boat and then out of the water and he was terrified. But after a few minutes he made his way to the bungalow and after a short time he was back at the pier in dry clothes. On the second attempt, everything went smoothly. We were out on the lake until noon and looked at it
Schwerin Castle
and then tied up in town. There was a party going on there and we were able to eat well there and relax in the sun on the jetty. Then we continued towards the drop-off point for the canoes. The boys became increasingly high-spirited and how could it be otherwise, in the middle of the lake a 2-seater canoe capsized. Unfortunately it was not possible to turn the canoe around again or even get the water out. But a few smaller boats rushed us to help and together we managed it. Hmmm, somehow that was all pretty funny. Finally, Kjell also got into a mud hole and stank badly, but it was warm enough to take a long swim in the lake... After we returned the canoes and went back to the facility, we started the grill right away and had a nice one start a cozy evening. This should also be quite long again. On Sunday after a hearty breakfast we went to Schwerin in the
high ropes course, where everyone was able to exert themselves and check their suitability for heights. It was great fun for everyone and a whole new experience. In the early afternoon we made our way back home.
