Boat tour on the Havel 2017
For my birthday I wanted to do something special and so it happened that I had a Yacht by Nautal chartered for 12 people. We met right on Port of Fürstenberg / Havel and the boys had already made the charter license and we were able to set up the boat straight away. Somehow the weather didn't make such a great impression, but that shouldn't interest us for now. Unfortunately, on Friday evening we couldn't go out because it was already dark. But we made ourselves comfortable in a nice group in the harbor. The first thing we did on Saturday was go out onto the lake and then we had a hearty breakfast. As soon as we were on our way, the weather changed and became pleasant. Everyone in the group quickly discovered their area of responsibility and everything ran smoothly. Thomas was the helmsman and Kjell and Marie and Sandra were his pilots when it came to the locks. It was a well-rehearsed team. We cruised around all day, lying on the deck in the sun and some even went into the water. On the way we picked up 2 stragglers, then we were complete and steered ours Port of destination Neustrelitz at. Unfortunately, they forgot to pack the grill we had ordered on the boat, but that shouldn't stop us, so a grill was quickly obtained. Arrived in the port of Neustrelitz, after a nice maneuver we docked properly in the city port and were even allowed to have a barbecue directly on the boat. Then we all sat at the harbor basin with our sausages and enjoyed the good time and the great weather. We later found out that there was an end-of-season party opposite our berth, which was of course just the thing for us. So, later in the day, our dance-mad people went for another round, almost to the end, and then we went back to the boat in a good mood. Hmmm, getting up on Sunday was pretty difficult. But we managed to go out on the lake and the weather was such that we could have breakfast, lounge, sunbathe or even swim on the deck in the most glorious sunshine. Just gorgeous. In the afternoon we arrived back at our port, cleared the ship and happily started our journey home. That was again a great thing, which can definitely be repeated again.
